YEAR 9
Year 9 tests have been designed to assess students at the end of Lower Secondary. The subjects available for testing are English, mathematics and science, and provide valuable feedback on the student's strengths and weaknesses before they progress to the next level. Students will receive their international Year 9 certificates should they choose the international exam at this stage.
Other subjects will get internal Academy exams which will be marked by Penhurst subject guides. These tests are marked overseas and provide external international benchmarks for student performance. Each student receives a statement of achievement as well as a diagnostic feedback report. |
Each report on a student provides:
- A Lower Secondary score for the whole subject
- A Lower Secondary score for each main topic/skill
- A list of the questions (and the sub-topics/skills) where the candidate’s performance was particularly strong or particularly weak
- A statement of achievement.
